8mm footage of a man who was possessed. The lore says it dates back to 1973 and people who just bought a house in Iowa discovered a canister of film and some audio recordings in the attic. The film is poorly cut, and it shows a demented man who performs some crazy things ranging from writhing around in pain, peeling off his nails, and more.
The first time it was posted on Youtube was back in 2011 under an account called “CODY.” Since then it has been circulating the Youtubes.
Obvious issues with the film
It was cut like a snuff film, not some random footage (it was produced not just filmed raw). Jump scares are included and the ever famous, standing in the corner being creepy is in the film. This would not be hard to reproduce at all. And the final issue… there appears to be a computer by the desk in the beginning of the film @30 second mark. Not exactly something you would find in 1973.

DOH! This one comes and goes. The last time I tried to find it, took me a while and only in some compilation. Before that I found 10 versions of it. With Halloween coming up I am hoping it will make its rounds again. I might save it then. Until then the search is on!
